Steve de Eyre is the Director of Public Policy & Government Affairs at TikTok Canada, where he works with all levels of government to inform them about TikTok’s commitment to user safety and privacy, and how Canadians are using TikTok to share their culture and talents on a global stage.

Prior to joining TikTok in 2020, he founded and led Amazon Canada's public policy team, and previously served at the Canadian Embassy in Washington D.C. as the representative for Innovation, Science & Economic Development.

Steve holds a B.A. (Honours) in Political Studies from Bishop’s University and J.D. from Case Western Reserve University School of Law. He currently serves on the Boards of Sheridan College and MediaSmarts.
