Christina Topp

Former Senior Director, Fundraising for the Liberal Party of Canada, Current VP at Sunnybrook Foundation
Christina has more than 25 years of experience in the non-profit and political sectors, working at the intersection of fundraising, marketing, and community engagement. Her work has focused on building strong fundraising programs, supporting organizational renewal, and engaging supporters through clear storytelling and trusted brands. She played a key role in rebuilding the Liberal Party of Canada’s fundraising infrastructure, discipline, and team capacity leading into the successful 2015 federal election. Most recently, she led fundraising for Mark Carney’s successful leadership campaign and was an advisor on the 2025 election campaign. In her current role as Vice President, Marketing & Community Engagement at Sunnybrook Foundation, Christina is responsible for building a broad base of support through brand building, storytelling, community engagement, and fundraising for one of Canada’s leading academic health sciences centres. She leads the marketing and communications, events, and community giving portfolios, working with teams to strengthen relationships and encourage sustained engagement and giving. Previously, Christina served as Vice President, Marketing & Communications at WWF-Canada, where she led national marketing, communications and advocacy efforts in support of the organization’s mission. Outside of work, Christina looks for opportunities to contribute her time and expertise, most recently as a board member for Fred Victor and for Shelter Movers. She holds an MBA from the Schulich School of Business and an Honours Bachelor of Arts from the University of Guelph.
