Matt Smith is Executive Vice President, West, at Pollara Strategic Insights and brings over 20 years of experience in research, communications, and political strategy.

He recently served two years as Chief of Staff to BC Premier David Eby, leading government-wide policy and communications initiatives.

Previously, Matt was President of Stratcom, where he was in the leadership team of major campaigns including Toronto’s VaxTO and Gregor Robertson and Vision Vancouver’s three election wins.

Matt holds an M.A. in Electoral Geography from the University of Toronto and has been featured in Maclean’s New Power List and Vancouver Magazine’s Power 50.
